Taking chances

It’s the end of my first semester!

Time in university passed really quickly. not long ago, it was bidding, then just the first week of school. still rushing pre-readings from slides and textbooks which i gave up halfway. starting of projects, when everyone had no idea how to start. midterms. project deadlines approaching, presentations. study break. finals. and it was my last paper yesterday. Although i had a three-day week, but i had to go back to school everyday for project meetings. especially nearing deadlines, even over weekends and through the nights to the extent of missing the last train. not so lucky for a 3-day week anymore nxt sem, but yay just one morning class! hehe hmmm though smu has quite a lot of interesting ccas, tried a few like muay thai judo samba and ended up with none. usual us right t, our gym session?! talking about exercising, i miss swimming

hmmmm i can’t wait for everything in december to come (:

OH YES my teeth is quite straight alr after 6 months? all my sufferings no more leaving behind ugly marks on burger heh ^^

My Macbook crashed 3 nights ago. From always switched on to always switched off ha ha and the charger’s working in the day but not night o.o

Anw tightening of braces on the 27th after verification/library training. Changed to a thicker wire this time and added a spring to make way for the hidden tooth! Surprisingly I didn’t have to survive on porridge this time round. It’s only the 2nd day but I don’t feel pain anymore hmmmm probably focusing on the front teeth ^^

Acad briefing tomorrow damn tired sigh my nose is starting to run again :(

Finally a day at home! 3 camps in two weeks!

FTB at obs

Awesome group still meeting once a week ever since the camp! First was mahjong session at zhiyang’s the day after ftb, then they had another mahjong session during my asoc camp in the 2nd week and the same week Predators which sucked! Meeting for horror marathon on wed night again heh. Ftb was boring but it depends on the group afterall. For me, Incendi8 made ftb fun :)

ASOC

4days 3nights in SMU! As compared to ftb, ASOC camp is very slack haha. We get to sleep in airconditioned SRs, get to go for supper, sleep till 9am, bathe in clean toilets! The only factor that lose to ftb was the food provided. But anyway, I had fun with BATMAN!

Damn chilled group during the 2days 1night camp which left halfway during the Amazing Race and went back to SR for nap lol

So weekends were spent at Holland village washing cars!





Burnt after but we managed to break the record made last year which was 717cars in 12hours. We washed 859cars in 8hours! Second day was very slack and I guess we washed less than 400cars lol

IT RAINED TODAY ):

Went to school for the community service talk in the morning and I estimated the peak hours timing so I was actually about half an hour earlier :\ hmmm actually I think it’s either I’m early or I’m late quite hard to be on the dot unlike sec sch/jc alr sigh. Anw saw familiar faces around hehe and so they introduced about 5 events that we can join to clear the 80 hours. I guess I’ll most probably join the car wash one. The balloons’ seem interesting too but I’m a lil scared of balloons :x

Went for lunch at shokudo again and we tried the steamboat for 2 this time round but it was so not worth the money.. luckily the omelette’s nice :)  to raffles’ hospital for my medical checkup and it took me more than 3 hours just for a chest xray and some physical measurements zzz btw I thought raffles’ hospital is near raffles’ place station when I actually saved the image from street directory HA HA

damnit INITIAL PLAN TO SWIM AT THE CLUB WAS CANCELLED COS OF THE RAIN and I postponed tuition lesson to sunday too partly because of the rain too

On wed, met up w 08S16 girls to send Selly off.. the guys are in army. They had popeyes while I had mashed potato because of my teeth :( then they decided to watch knight and day after while I parted w them at cityhall. Initial plan to chinatown for frogleg porridge was cancelled because jo had a tummyache. Nevertheless, fav porridge at her place was great too :)

2 – Lavender

HOWWWW! I don’t like the tightening of bracessssss it felt as if my teeth are being violently plucked out when dr lim was changing the wire and my gums are weak they bleed :(

So today dr lim extended the wire for my bottom row already. not feeling much pain for the rest of the teeth as compared to the newly-wired teeth, hahahaha at least bearable and i can bite on grains of rice w the front teeth, FOR NOW…. and udon for dinner after adjustment, again! Rushed to eat soup restaurant for lunch before the pain set in too ^^

hehe and i bought a few mango basics for school before watching knight and day. not bad though the show’s 2 hours it didnt seem that long!

Anw I called raffles hospital to arrange for school’s medical check up they told me that i can just walk in o.o

Msn is crazy. all my contacts are blocked and there’s requests from every contact to be added everytime i login wthhhhh shall use back adium :/

It was also mich’s bday! Anw from this photo I realised I’m really becoming a bag of bones and I’m hating it. very much. the chinese medicine is still not making me absorb more ): been to the physician for the second follow up yday and im srlys hoping that the medicine wouldnt make my period come just before my camps!! the timing is actually just nice but the adjustment might just screw things up :/

Rain in the morning was perfect for my sleep though the thunders woke me up a few times

Gotten the third eyeliner today. within i think 2 months? First was from bodyshop because my dog bit my eyeliner and I had to get a new one for smu interview the last minute but I had no idea where to get it from you know, jp -.- okay then it kept smerging despite being quite costly i guess prob cos of the “smokey effect” part. the second one was from maybelline which kept breaking and smerging. no, fault doesnt lie w my eyessss i had no prob w jo’s and mom’s eyeliner. Now I decided to just get mac eyeliner and stop trying new ones.

But I might want to try shark’s eyeliner if this doesn’t work again :)

My two front teeth are moving suddenly. after 3 weeks hmmmmm weird….

Reeling from the loss

It’s unbelievable that the naughty little one is so timid and afraid of the wind since he’s so gl always bullying us! woke up this morning finding him hiding in a corner of the room panting and nowadays he will run past the passage in the living room into one of our rooms because he’s afraid of the wind! hahaha poor little one but cute :p

Anw the mushroom brought me to shokudo for lunch today something new ^^ hehe and i bought a suit from g2000, suddenly feel so grown up shopping for such clothes! then it was mahjong at mushroom’s place w popo and yima after an extraordinary dinner :)

Mom is finally considering a job change a job i came across few weeks ago :)

Ah sucks being the youngest at times like this. off to cook mee for some asshole
